IYS Control Systems are experts in both DC and AC motors and drives. Recently the company successfully installed a 110Kw DC motor and drive to FiberWeb in Maldon. The motor and drive are running a very busy plastic mesh line on a three shift system. The complete package was installed and commissioned by IYS, with help of FiberWeb mechanical engineers, as nearly a Ton of motor took some moving into place. IYS are partners with Schneider Drives, and can supply, install and service the complete range of AC Inverter Drives. Supply of drives to the Mid Essex Health Authority, along with our technical support is another one of our success stories.

We are replacing older less efficient drives with the ATV21 series and ATV32 series where room within plant rooms is at a premium. We have also been supplying AC Drives along with Control Systems to FDS Ltd for installation in to the Olympic Village. Some 16 systems using the ATV21 have been installed to date.
